Carpe Diem is a no combat, top down adventure game. The emphasis was to be on a large pool of fetch quests and unraveling what happened in the town while you were away.

Carpe Diem is a no combat, top down adventure game. The emphasis was to be on a large pool of fetch quests and unraveling what happened in the town while you were away.
My Tasks:
- Designed & implemented a data driven UI system that displays story text that's scripted in a pList
- Allows for mimimal programmer interference to allow our designer to make a quest chain complete with dialogue, pre-requisite quest completion, fetch item and diamond choices.
- Speech bubbles (displays NPCs to talk to or items to collect)
- Inventory system (those squares in the bottom right get populated with items, like that teddy bear, when collected)
